Node Script

    Hi,

    Took lot of thinking and coding but here we are, we have our node scripting editor ready to be used for all. What does it mean? Check this small video here:


    Basically it let you write your scripts or view the scripts either as text as we had before or for those less skilled via the nodes editor.

    Operations are done via drag / drop with all the API & statements our scripting engine allows.

    It's certainly not the most efficient way to work specially for big scripts, but can be an help to start with, and as you can switch from one to the other at any time while keeping the scripts it should not be in your way.

    There is still room for improvement like live help while moving the mouse over the nodes or more logic while editing the script. However we are pretty confident for a first release. If something broke due to this change or something doesn't work as expected please report.

    Thanks KaL! I added some live help while you over the nodes now. This feature should be pretty solid and is really aimed at new comers while it should not affect more skilled one (due to the fact you can switch back and forth between nodes and text).

    I like that you are focusing on the new comer. That is also my goal, to help developer develop games In a much faster pace. Right now I'm more focusing on the design theme of each game. Where they can design the theme of the front page and game page without coding. Your Engine is evolving! :)

    Yes indeed the goal is to let new comers and not so skilled people approach the engine by offering many easy to use features. However it's clear that I also want as much customization as possible, and slowly nearly everything should be able to be modified via scripts / extensions. You can already completely change the game rules (stat, skills) like that.
